Well guitar n00b...it's like this.

You're probbly using an open tuning to achieve it...which is cheating...and makes it impossible to add the O# extension with the thumb.

This is why you guys still have two dots.

Everyone knows all you need is a 4" pinky extension to pull that off.

From what I've learned from my studies, an 'advanced chord' is one that when struck and held can actually cause the guitarist to time travel. When I hit it, I am going to go back BEFORE Van Halen and be the first to popularize 'tapping'. Hoo hoo....look what I invented! :D

Sorry. It's an 'advanced' technique allowing you the ability to time travel. You can go anyway you wish. (my nonsense, my rules!) I could go sideways in time if I wanted to but then I would be sitting here next to myself and quite frankly, I find myself no fun to hang out with. :D
