thanks man! I was using my 1986 Kramer Striker 300st that I've got loaded up with an Semour Duncan PA-TB-2 (Parallel Axis Distortion Trembucker) in the bridge, and some Texas Specials in the mid, and neck positions.. For the solo I was using the Duncan PATb2 with my guitar volume only turned up about 3/4's of the way.

Tone - The tone is more so in the amp than in my guitar(s) though......the Legacy reaks of "Tone" :)

Here's a pic of the Kramer:

Note- In the pick I still had some Duncan "Duck Buckers" in the mid and neck positions.... I've since switched to the TX. SP.'s

Hey Rick, I liked it...particularly the first bridge and then how you swung out if on the transition...that was...honestly...hot! You got a ton of tasteful notes in the main course after the first bridge...my (brutally honest) comment would be to bring some of that flavor back to the intro...it would be more appealing (for me) rather than the long sustained notes...JMO.

good stuff!

I think the lesson thing is pretty cool...my first.

It was out of my box in terms of the genre (jazzy) but I attempted to create some loose themes on the versus and then a bridge...I got a bit lost at the end of the second versus on one transition...oh well. I took me about a week to really get a feel for it...and don't know that I ever really got my hands around it...

(apologize for the quality...sounded much better in my Guitar Rig 2 app)

Here's my take...

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=649497

The 'hi-fi' is messed up so you'll have to listen with the 'lo-fi' (am going to see if I can fix it later today)...quality is not great on the 'lo-fi'...

that's mine...it was fun!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, blk, I just listened to your hi-fi before reading your post, I'm like "wtf...." But now I'm listening to your lo-fi and I like it. Definitely a different tone, and maybe some different scale useage (?). But definitely cool.

Thanks for the comments guys,...I really appreciate them all!!

This style of music is soooooo "out there" for me, it's hard for me to really feel comfortable with it........it's also very hard for me to hear the musical changes in the track (??)

Now somebody's going to have to tell me what I was playing as I don't know theory or scales.......I just play I guess. :o

I still haven't had a chance to listen to everyones solo's as I'm still living in the dark ages with Dial up.......I need to set a side quite a bit of time to check that stuff out :( ... Probably Sat morning...

Thanks again guys!!

PS - Playing solos always makes me hungry!!

Good job Equator. Couple of nice runs in there.

It amazes me how everyone gets a different idea in their head when soloing. I don't think anyone has really been similar, everyone has a unique style to their own. Good shtuff guys.

It didn't work actually. What you wanna do is just put the name of your handle on soundclick in the url like this www.soundclick.com/magicninja I think it has this link on the band administration page. :)

Is there some reason why you are not posting a proper set of changes with the initial MP3?
