Who are u guys? what is the idea behind your name and signiture? (i don't mean to pry, i'm just curoius)
O.K. i'll start the ball rolling. my name is just my e-mail address without the @hotmail.com at the end. my signiture is one line from the radiohead song paranoid android. it is the bit in the background done on a comuter while thom york sings "Hu? whats that?"

the nick should be from "led zeppelin" as you may guess
the signature is from a song called "boot hill" i cant recall right now who wrote this song, but i know the version by SRV from the sky is crying album

You can get a pretty good idea about me here, on my band's web page.

As for the SN, Raskolnikov is the main character in Crime and Punishment... I kinda feel like an axe murder when I'm on the internet chatting, so it seemed a fitting SN. It's also my name on pro-rock.com (Clutch's web page).

By now the signature should make a little more sense.

The name comes from a D'Addario promo T-shirt issued about 15 years ago. J.R.R. Tolkien's estate probably sued them over it. Some folks just have no sense of hee-haw :rolleyes:

My favourite satirist, Terry Pratchett, entitled one of his books 'Soul Music'. The title got taken rather litterally by some of the characters, while they were playing "music with rocks in".....hmm, maybe you had to be there.

My name is actually my middle name. I spent 16 years of my life being embarrassed by it and the last three getting to quite like it. It's got a certain "so ugly it's cool" sort of ring to it, or at least I have started to think that way. My signature changes from time to time, this is a line from Bob Dylan's 4th time around, which seems to be aimed at the Beatles... He didn't always get along with them, and 4th time around seems to be a bit of a rip off of Norweigan Wood. It's all too odd, but it's a nicely acerbic statement that in no way reflects my desire to help others. Hee hee.

my nick name is same as my e-mail adress, as well (missing the @hotmail.com bit). It's a snow patrol song "an educated flim by".

My signature... well i couldn't really think of anything that doesn't sound like it's just been lifted out of a song like other poeple's (nothing wrong with it, i just want to put my own comment in), and i was sick of finding that lefty guitars all cost about +10% extra (and upwards), and alot of realy nice guitars aren't made lefty.

Which brings me to another point i'm gonna start a new thread about now....

My nickname's my surname. When I started secondary school (high school...) there were that many Chris' that people started coming up with nicknames. Willdridge seemed the most logical for me!
As for my sig...I just came up with it one day...literately, ignore me long enough and I will go away! I was thinking of changing it soon, but we'll see...

Everybody calls me Howie, I like really cheesy 70's detective series, especially the theme tunes so howie50 sounds like Hawaii Five Oh. My signature is a thing that Keith Richard once said although I may have misquoted him a little. I think he meant that Rock'n'Roll is not exactly rocket science, peoplr take it too seriously it's only meant to be fun so lighten up.

I sort of agree with Bardsley on the genius/psycho thing. You know, there's a fine line between genius and madness, take say Bob Dylan and Neil Young, people think they're great cos they play the guitar and the harmonica at the same time. OK, now picture them playing the guitar and harmonica at the same time only now with cymbals strapped to each knee and a bass drum on their backs.............. see what I mean ?

mine comes from StarCraft. I play a lot of video games along with guitar. i just took my battle.net name. Majin is from DBZ and Mojo is the name of a StarCraft hero.

My nick simply refers to the main character one of my favourite books... 'Neverending Story' who is called Bastian Baltasar Bux.

I read the book when I was only a child and I will never forget it...
