yeaaaaaaaaaaah riiiiiiighttttt.

who fed that into your mouth? They understand us culturally, they don't like us because we are the world police, and the tanks in mecca (we had TANKS IN MECCA;!!!;), thats like the USA rolling tanks into Jerusalim (sp?) or the russians rolling tanks into Washington DC, just leaving them there with armed units, how hostile do you think you'd feel?

They are bastards, i'll give you that. But!!! Every one of the 19 al quaida that helped in the destruction of our buildings was ON FBI WATCH. They knew who these people were, knew that every single one of them was attending flight school!
If you believe the government knew nothing about this, your just as gullable as they want you to be.

I never said I didn't think the government intelligence didn't know about it, but I don't really think they did know that some terrorist were going to use are planes to crash into a few of our buildings. I believe they would of prevented it.
And I still stand behind cultural misunderstandings, but I also do think our foriegn policy sucks. There is deffinetely no black and white in this.

As you know, George Bush is a CEO of an oil company (i dont know what its called, but he is), and his company, now that the Taliban are out, have permission to run a 1600 mile pipe of oil through afghanistan, which will make him even more richer. Also, Cheney's company Halliburton, has relations with Iraq, which may have relations with Al Quaida, so therefore Cheney is supplying money to Al Quaida (possibly> not directly though).

Unless you don't use oil... you really have nothing to say about them buying it. I mean we can't just not have oil. And if you want to believe that is America is all about conspiracy you do that. Yes, the government is corrupted, but what government isn't?

apparently you haven't done your research on efficient fuels. the seeds in marijuana, when mixed properly, provide a safe, efficient form of oil (you just have to get your car modified to do it). and this could be possible once the government lets us smoke in peace.

I don't have time to research marijuana fuel. I mean really... I try to be interested in current events, but then I realize it doesn't even matter what I think in the end. I mean really what is a middle class, under-aged, female going to do? So I just "chill" and hope that my life doesn't get messed up.

Ohhhh brother . . . (*the year is 2007, and GM has just introduced their new 'joint-powered' family roadster*)

iiholy has the right idea though. The world is controlled by an oligarchy of super-rich people and companies, and it really doesn't matter what run-of-the-mill people like us think. Most of us are too busy trying to survive in our little lives to have a clue, and those who do are "crackpots".

Lets not forget the THC level in hemp is so low you could never get high off it. Its legal in Canada, but you have to have a permit to farm it. Weird. And Marijuana, its medicinal use is pretty much fine with everyone.

What no one in the White House seems to have caught yet, is that they are following Osama Bin Laden's plans. His intent was to get them tangled up in a series of military engagements that would sap America's military, financial, and diplomatic resources.

First Afghanistan, now Iraq, the ongoing intfadah on the West Bank. Already, America's allies are starting to back away from a country they see as turning into an out-of-control bully.

'SoDamn Insane' is a monster, but he's not a threat to the world. If the US was serious about stopping Islamic terrorism at the source, they'd be making some very pointed assesments of Saudi involvement. It is not a coincidence that Osama, and most of the 9/11 terrorists, were Saudi. As in most investigations of major criminal organisations, follow the money. A lot of it, possibly most of it, comes from Saudi Arabia.

well excuse me man but one of Henry ford's first cars ran on this hemp oil formula, very inexpensive and had good mileage. then the government illigalized marijuana and hemp all-together...

yes! especially in Vancouver, police have almost stopped arresting people who smoke herb, as long as its not you know, something outrageous and high-profile.

and its medicinal use is above alot of other medical drugs, so in the USA thats like taking away a diabetic's insulin. think about it.

About the infidel thing, I think it actually means that your against the religion of whoever hates you. Thats why all those terorrists call everyone infidels, they arent of the same religion they are. Most of this nonsense is about religion. Thats stupid, not everyone else in America is Christian or whatever. I live in Canada and I'm as far away from religious as you can get. (I dont meen I'm some satanist, I'm just not religious)
And the THC thing, think of all the stuff they put in ciggarettes, tar, cyonide, all kinds of crap. Thats what causes the resporatory trouble. Given the choice between a clean joint or a cigarrette, I'd take the joint(I'm not a pothead)
Half the medicinal marijuana stuff making you feel better is all psycological.
And God said, 'Let there be rock!'

Hello my name is Jesse, I am twenty six years old from Western Washington I would say Seattle but I moved from there as soon as I could afford to in your guts is that feeling you get when you hit the right note at the perfect time or when you catch the wave of the day. I surf way to much to get anything else done and I have been unemployed for two years and I love every wave riding string bending minute of it

It's funny that a thread started in an effort to get to know the people in this forum turned into a political discussion.

I am not surprized at that. I am surprized it took this long.

Lennon may have been nuts but at least he was a pacifist. Lenin was nuts but he wanted good for people too, he just went about it in one really screwed up way.

George Orwell wrote some very cool **** and it was right on time... not 20 years early. The internet was not opened up by accident and it was building up speed in 1984. By the way, take a look at the publishing date of 1984.

Maybe it wasn't strange behavior. In actuallity the norm is strange.
