We could also make it like a trailer. Like 30 seconds of each person and pin it to the forum.

like an advertisement. like, "hey, if you join guitar tricks, you can learn to play like this!" *a small clip of each solo is played* "join guitar tricks now!"

that sounds so cool.

I guess since I'm the workhorse around here I could do something like that. I could put a link to this soundclick page in a sticky and pin it atop the listening post. Something to that effect? Maybe put a link to it on the GT myspace profile too. It could work.

Great take on the track, Akira. That high-register stuff around the 2:20 (?) mark was peachy.

When's the deadline for this one again? I've been working on it some, but nothing satisfactory so far. I think I work best under a lil pressure anyways, but I still wanna be in the mix...even though from the sound of the takes already I won't get as high up in the votes as last time. Although I'm breaking out a secret weapon on this one. ;)

Is it alright if I have a go at that one? This time, the sound quality WILL be good :o , as I'll be using my guitar teacher's big studio setup to record.

Big Ben! You don't have to ask! Just do it. :) I'm still waiting on Julian but I think I may have a little something if he don't come through.

Here's my take.
A new guitar here. My first recording with it: Ibanez Classical w/cutaway. This is all with a pick, cuz while I like fingerpicking, I don't grow out my nails so not as much tone.

Edit: Oh yeah...the new guitar isn't the "secret" weapon though. It was a capo, in case it's not obvious. I'm surprised nobody went the other way and tuned down to it. Or has someone? I haven't listened to every take yet.

Wow that sounds really good. I should have done mine with my classical....I think I'll go do it now...
Lovely reverb and chords, really fits with the backing track. Yours is definately one of my favourites, glad you could get this done in time!

That was very good, Rustee. The lines were all really well-coordinated, and the slides around the 2:10 (?) mark sounded excellent. That is one beautiful-sounding guitar, by the way.
