Hi guys,

I happen to see this entry today. Cool that you like my jamtrack. By the way there is a video with some tips how to play over this jam at http://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=9712

Greetings

Hiya,

Here's my first attempt. I feel I can do a million times better. I'll probably post a more refined entry later in the month. But for now, tell me what you think!

Hmm there are some major timing issues methinks...

I thought it was well done Julian. The harmonies there at the end were cool.

I am speechless...

Julian, that was FLAWLESS, George Benson would be proud! Great work, keep it up  .

"Timing issues"? Pssh!

True, but I've been jamming over it in C# dorian as well.

drf, you pulled off the clean channel nicely though, I gotta hand it to you!

I'd've stuck with the tube screamer haha!

Yeah I chucked in a bit of dorian in my take, but it's risky! You're screwed when you get to the A chord! :D

Thanks to this little mission I started, a little lesson from Dr. Simon, and some conformation of my learnings from Jolly, I can now tab out all Seven modes as derived from any Major or Minor Key. Hooray for learning !!! It's alot easier than I ever imagined. So now I'll be able to work the whole fretboard and stay in key and know why I'm in key and the name of the mode I'm using. Now to learn the same applications to chordal theory.

We have damn fine guitarists on this forum.

CW-> I wish you would have thrown that outro in the middle but it was still awesome.
