Im a HUGE sports fan. Heres my major sports teams:

MLB: NY Mets (also will root for Boston or whoever is playing the Yankee$)

NFL: Buffalo Bills

NBA: NJ Nets

NHL: Not a big hockey fan but the Buffalo Sabres if I was gonna root for someone.

College Hoops and Football: Syracuse Orangemen

I also watch golf and root for Tiger most of the time. Pro Bass Fishing is ok, I root for Joe Thomas or Kevin Van Dam.

I can watch ESPN all day long or talk about sports all day long. As far as pro teams go, i root for my hometown teams (Ravens, Orioles, Wizards, Capitals). and for college teams, ovbiously i root for ASU! and UMD too.

I am a LIFETIME SEATTLE sports fan!!! Mariners, Seahawks (9-2!!!), Sonics, HENDRIX.... :D
I am Comfortably Numb... :D

I hate sports.... I find no such pleasure in watching people chase after some inanimate object as though it was solid gold.

NFL: Denver Broncos(Doing Well)

NBA: Bucks (ehh)

MLB: Yanks (double ehh)

NO hockey but If it was the last sport left The Avalanche

College I stick to UNM.

I'm a huge sports fan.

MLB - STL Cardinals (hometown team)

NHL - The Blues (hometown team) although they are doing very pathetic right now

NFL - The Rams (hometown team) not good, but have a slight chance

Not a big basketball fan, I love hockey and baseball. I played hockey in college, and it's a shame that more people don't get into it. Especially with the rule changes the game has become much more exciting.

As for college basketball - Illinois of course!! :D

same goes for me, and im terrible at sports too

i used to play soccer and table tennis(coz it was the coolest thing before when guitar was not the in thing back when i was young). Im too lazy to practise with my team. id rather sleep or watch tv.

Could someone enlighten me to the appeal of watching sports?Whats the allure?

I mean I can watch a few football games,but not without some beer(its pretty dull).Knowing what these guys make is sickening too.

I guess you either get it or you dont. I enjoy playing sports which may help. Im not sure if its an explainable thing.

Oh come on,at least try to explain.

Just thinking now...If I was a 2000 year old roman,I would have loved to go to a colloseum and watch some awsome swordsman.

Also I find martial arts interesting(to bad they just want your money...yeah,teach me your 3rd degree skills after I pay a test fee)and I love boxing(way to obscure now)

Actually let me retract me saying I don't like sports.I hate team sports.

I can watch the so-called "extreme sports" though, sateboarding, inline skating, BMX, motocross, that sort of thing is interesting to watch.

I love watching sports on tv but i also understand why some people can't stand it. If you understand the nuances of the particular sport and the strategy that goes into it, it is a lot more interesting to watch. and like Stackny said, it helps if you play sports as well.

What type of horseriding?

Ill take that challenge! ...On second thought, you probably would crush me. I own it, but dont play it much, mostly because my roomate wont play me anymore because I slaughter him everytime.
