If you have a song you are having problems with just type it up on here and i will try and help you

well it is not so much writing it as deciding if it should have a backing track, at the moment it has only guitar, can you suggest some ways i can get free backing tracks or if i should just leave it as acoustic fingerpicking

the easy way to get a backing track is to get a very basic loop of a drum or whatever im sure you can type it into a search engine. Then you will the have to add your guitarplaying and some lyrics and you should be ok. Also ask you friends or someone you trust to tell you what they think of it but dont feel afraid to try many different loops and timing for your lyrics. Wish you all the best

Leave it as acoutic fiinger picking or write the backing tracks yourself if you want to be original.
