Most overrated band ever???

I would have to go with Nirvana! Top alternative band ever or so they say. In my opinion there are far better bands.

cowboy troy. Have you seen this guy ripping up the country music scene. What's happened to country?
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

Stealing? Have you heard the originals? They're almost not even the same song. Dazed and Confused for instance. Jimi did the same...All Along the Watchtower (among others) is nothing like Dylan's.
But right on the money with the Stones. Never cared for them at all.

Jimi at least gave the writing credit without legal measures being taken, though.
He also never did anything as blatantly plagiaristic as Page did with Sprit's song "Taurus" when writing the intro to Stairway to Heaven.

I know this is the most over rated BAND, but I think that BB King is very overrated. What makes him so special is beyond me. He's in like every top ten list. Usually, you're more technically proficient than the guys that came before you, but in his case he isn't even that.
He MIGHT be in the top ten of straight blues players, but in my opinion he's not.

He's on top b/c he puts so much feeling into his playing....It's not alway's about being the most technical.

You've got to be kiddin me dude.....Greenday, Weezer, The Doors, Nirvana.....I like The who and i can understand people thinkin Nirvana is overated but thats because most people only like them because of "Come as you are" and "Teen Spirit" but the rest of there music for the most part is good.... but explain Greenday, Weezer, The Doors and Nirvana

Weezer: I read an interview with the singer/guitarist, can't remember his name.....He was talking about how much he hates fans and avoids them at all cost.....the fans are who made him famous, he's a joke...plus, the music is just boring...
Greenday: Again, boring, all sounds the same....
The Doors: Jim Morrison alway's annoyed me....yeah, he's poetic and all, but his voice and their music never did anything for me.
Nirvana: 3 chords, that's all I've got to say.
It's all just personal opinion......doesn't matter anyway.

Hey I read that same article. It was in May 2002's Guitar World. If I hadn't had a big enough reason to hate Weezer already that article defintely made sure i did. What an asshole! And yes I do agree with Greenday as a crappy band. As well as good charlotte and some other bands mentioned. God..a lot of those emo and punk guys should be shot in the face. Ewww...

I'd never heard any claims like that about Stairway, nor have I ever heard of that song either. Perhaps so...I dunno. These "cover" songs aren't even why I like them anyways, so he's still my hero! :)

All blues players put feeling into their playing.
So what. He puts "feeling" into it. He plays the same chops over and over and over. He's just mimicing his predocesors.
