I am also a beginner (nearly two years) but I can tell you.
To make your own solo, find out the key the rythym is. EG. C major etc.
If you don't that, there are some lessons on this site.
But when you find out get that scale and build your solo from the notes in it.
Just play around with it, I couldn't tell you how they progress and fit together, just mess around with what sound right.
Im not ok. Im not okhayhay. Im not ok.

since you are improvising the guitar solo then there are baically no rules
just find what key your in and find a scale that works with it...after that just play away
also, if you want to get good at improvising listen to a lot of live bands that jam out there songs

you can get filled up with all this theory and all this technics but really what it all comes down to is what sounds good.
its all by ear. feel the notes rather than search for them.
alot of times when i improvise a solo i just start off on the 12th fret of the high e string. it goes with almost anything and then you can find your way from there.

Find the key of the song and use any scale that fits that key!! You will know what sound good!!! Memorize the scales that you like best and record a chord progession. Then just wail away !!! Practice,Practice,Practice!!!!! There was times where i used to improvise on a single chord progression for up to 8 hours a day for a week
