I know her guitar player Evan Taubenfeld adn he's actally pretty talented...he used to play in a band with my best friend. so how cool am I !! lol
Btw, avril is mediocre looking. and worse when shes not doused in makeup.

I play guitar *strums D then goes wild*. Yes a lot of girls are what you claim. They pick it up, strum a few chords and like woah brag about playing guitar. I also know quite a few guys that do that too.

As to being a female guitarist there are some prejudices... but i mean what can you do. It serves as a slight advantage, because people underestimate your ability, then you can show them up.

Chuck... I'm not marrying you btw.

I should have more to say about this, but I really don't. I mean I play (more like live) guitar, and I feel no need to say "wow i play pretty good and i'm a chick." Doesn't make a difference as to how much I really, really, REALLY love guitar. And yeah... I HATE YOU ALL YOU DAMNED SEXISTS! Haha j/k.

women and men aren't equal
we are diffrent
you wana say equal opportunity should be presented to both sexs ok i hear that but why do these women always say "women can do anything men can do"
number one thats probably true but that isnt what this is about.

i think men might be more prone to ubsetion
i dont see many women into drugs either so maybe men just get hooked into these things
just a theory its all good
as long as someone man or woman are playing guitar life will go on! :cool:

man i pstoed this not thinking that much and now i have to think really hard to make sure i dont say anything i dont want to say casue i seroiusl the reason i posted this is cause all the girls i know play 3 chords and then say they play guitar so that's why i posted it to se if anyone else had the same problem cause i really only want a girl that plays guitar so thats why i posted it tto see if someone else felt the same way.
if you pick up your guitar and play you'll learn something of value.

see i was right girls dont tend to play guitar and if someone says something about it they get all pissed and mad at you cause you would say something like that.it's like i was making a point i didnt meen to offend you.im meen its the coolest things girl play guitar but they get kinda mad they do have a reason cause we do kinda treat them like crap so i guees it's not all not diserved.
if you pick up your guitar and play you'll learn something of value.

OK, yeah avril lavenge prob. can play about as much guitar as i can, but she is pretty good looking

those girls on those pics are not good looking at all. if i had a penis and saw elisha cuthbert holding a guitar then i would think that was hot

i have to admit there are alot of girls that brag about playing guitar and they only know like a few chords, but there is also alot of girls that kick ass at playing

I would like to say in my best *proud papa* tone that my 8 year old daughter has been practicing seriously (2 hours a day after school) for the last year... of course she HAD to have a Dean strat... You know, I have all these freaking vintage Kramers and Charvels, with the occasional Ibenhad thrown in and she had to have a DEAN.... go figure...

She has as of late been playing blues-rock... she like the Los Lonely Boys song "Heaven" and she has been working on SRV... of course I see her morphing into "Angry Girl Rock" any time now...
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

I wasn't offended, I just thought the whole concept was dumb. Because the three chord thing is true for a lot of girls, but it is also true for A LOT of guys. I bet it is an almost equal number. Guitar is one of the easiest instruments to learn the basics of, but the hardest to get really good at (in my opinion.) Trust me my dear boy, and you are a boy I can tell by your wonderful grammar, that you do not want to see me pissed off. Have a nice day.
