I play guitar *strums D then goes wild*. Yes a lot of girls are what you claim. They pick it up, strum a few chords and like woah brag about playing guitar. I also know quite a few guys that do that too.

As to being a female guitarist there are some prejudices... but i mean what can you do. It serves as a slight advantage, because people underestimate your ability, then you can show them up.

I should have more to say about this, but I really don't. I mean I play (more like live) guitar, and I feel no need to say "wow i play pretty good and i'm a chick." Doesn't make a difference as to how much I really, really, REALLY love guitar. And yeah... I HATE YOU ALL YOU DAMNED SEXISTS! Haha j/k.
