Add Rhythm With Strumming & Muting Country Style
Description
There is only one difference in this and the last lesson, and that's the strum pattern. In the last lesson we used all downstrokes with the pick, in this one we're using both up, and downstrokes.
On the count of 1, strum the strings with a downstroke, and on 2 use an upstroke. On 3 a downstroke, and then back up on 4.
Using all downstrokes gives a song a more "driven" or "rock" feel that's found in modern country music while the alternate strum is used more for acoustic guitar and feels less "rocky" and "driven" than all downstrokes.
