Description
Any acoustic guitar can be used to play this song. As for the electric, I’m using a Telecaster for this song, but any electric guitar is suitable. I’ve selected the neck pickup for a warm, round sound.
You’ll need a capo placed on the 1st fret of both guitars.
A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones heard in this tune. Dial in for a crunch lead sound - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 75%, Bass to 45%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.
Add some reverb to all guitars for depth.
On the electric, I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick to dig right in. As for the acoustic, I’m using a medium pick along with 11-52 string gauge.
