Description
A big part of Travis Picking is rhythm, so one technique we should add to our bag of tricks is muting. Muting is where we lift off the pressure of our left hand to stop the notes from sustaining, creating a gap in between notes and chords. We can do this quickly after playing a note or full chord to get a very rhythmic ‘snappy’ sound.
