Description
Any acoustic guitar can be used to play this song. As for the electrics, I’m using a Les Paul for this song, but any electric guitar is suitable. For Guitar 2, I’ve selected the neck pickup for a warm, round sound. Guitar 3 uses the bridge picking for a brighter tone.
A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones heard in this tune. Dial in for clean just on the edge of breakup - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 35%, Bass to 45%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.
Guitar 3 uses a fuzz effect for a distinctive tone.
Add some reverb to all guitars for depth.
I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick to dig right in. As for the acoustic, I’m using a medium pick along with 11-52 string gauge.
