Description

I’m using a Stratocaster guitar for this song, but any electric guitar is suitable. I’ve selected the neck pickup for a round and warm tone. While the recording features a 12 string acoustic guitar, any acoustic guitar can be used to play this song.

A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones heard in this tune. Dial in a clean - right on the edge of breakup sound - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 35%, Bass to 45%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.

The electric uses a slap back echo effect for added depth. Add some reverb to both guitars.

I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick to dig right in. As for the acoustic, I’m using a medium pick along with 11-52 string gauge.
