First let me show you a full A major barre-chord shape, and then as usual we'll strip it down so that you won't actually have to barre. This one is a little bit trickier with the muting, but once you get used to it, it's kind of a comfortable grip.
(Editors note: At 3:13 Anders states to mute the G and B strings with the index finger of the fretting hand. This should be the G and high E strings.)
