I struggle to eliminate string buzz with the two fretting techniques here, but have more success if I play Index Finger on G, Middle Finger on D and Ring Finger on B. Is this OK or would you advise against this and that I persevere with the technique shown in the video?

Hi Michael, I would say, do what works for you for now but keep trying to get the standard shapes together over time. I have several fingerings for various chords that depend on what I'm playing before and after each one.
