Hybrid Picking: Intro

Up until now we've either used the pick or put down the pick completely and used our fingers instead. In this tutorial we're gonna explore all the great results you can get from using both your pick and your fingers at the same time. A lot of people refer to this as “hybrid picking” or “pick and fingers”, but regardless of what you choose to call it it's an extremely useful technique. And even though it's technically quite simple, it unfortunately is something that takes quite a while until most people really get comfortable with it. But I'm going to show you a bunch of ways to do this today, and even if you leave with just one of those little things under your fingers or even just the desire to keep exploring this technique moving forward, we'd be in good shape.
