Description

Grab your E minor chord and then start with the root note, and from there on there are endless ways to arpeggiate this chord.

Other than starting with the root note, all you have to do is make sure you have 8 notes total to fill up the bar. Of course you can change up the rhythm and fill up the bar with fewer notes, but for now let's do a steady pattern with a full bar of 8th notes.

Notice that I'm using a very simple version of what's called economy picking for this. Economy picking means you don't use constant alternating up and down strokes, but use several up and downstrokes in a row. My rule for this, when it comes to arpeggiating is that I always pick in the direction of the next string.
