Alternating Bass Within The E-Chord

Just like we had to adapt our finger picking pattern to different strings sets for the different chords, we also have to adapt our 1-5 bass pattern. So now let me show you how it works within our E major and E minor chord.

Remember that the root-5 movement is unaffected by whether this is minor or major. So this pattern is the same for E minor.

Instead of doing this with a metronome I'm going to trust that you'll spend a little time with this pattern before moving on. Remember that you can't rush this stuff.
