I Ain't Got You

There are 2 lightly crunched electric guitar layers in this tune. Guitar 1 plays some double-stop laden riffs and a searing solo, while Guitar 2 is a rhythm guitar that holds it all down with some lower single note lines and power chords.

The song jumps right in to both guitars establishing the strong, swinging groove featuring repeated stop & start riffing. The parts are played with plenty of energy and attitude. There's also a bridge and solo section that ups the ante with some full out rocking blues!

In the following lessons, we'll talk about double stop and single note riffs, triads, syncopated rhythms, and some textbook English rock/blues soloing approaches. We are in the key of G major, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 150 BPM.
