Description

The second verse is very much like the first verse but with higher voicings of the first 2 chords and a few variations on the bass walks and fills.

There are 6 verse in the song and they are all grouped in pairs. If you listen carefully you can hear subtle variations in the verses. However, I have only broken down the first two verses. The idea is that Doc played this song a little differently every time he played it and ultimately every rendition is up t the performer. There is a bag of licks and riffs that he would draw from when playing this and other songs that kept his playing fresh and exciting. So when you play verses 3-6 you can either repeat the first two verse verbatim or you can mix and match the fills and bass walks to make it more your own!
