So far we've been using our acoustic guitar as accompaniment and our electric guitar as a combination of accompaniment and lead. That is definitely the most common division of labor within a classic country band. However, it does happen that the acoustic guitar takes a solo from time to time. It happens all the time in Bluegrass music, and when you play country songs acoustically, or "unplugged" as it's often called. Although some of the electric tools will work on acoustic as well, the general vocabulary and tool box is slightly different, and that's what we're going to start exploring in this tutorial. Let's get started!
