Description
The solo is mostly in G diatonic minor. Includes licks in G blues (pentatonic minor with a b5), dorian. There is a chord change to C, over which C dorian is used. This works great because C dorian is a mode of B-flat major/G minor.
Most of the solo is a great combination of mixing blues & rock licks. The phrasing is very precise, organized, well-defined rhythmically. The ending is very dramatic with the buildup leading to the wide, slow bends.
