Description

For Guitars 1 and 3, I'm using a Les Paul, but any electric guitar is suitable to play this song. The tone has much more to do with the amp settings. Be sure to use the bridge pickup for a brighter sound. Guitar 1 requires a capo placed at the second fret.

Guitar 2 can be played with any acoustic guitar, but one with a brighter tone will cut through the band better.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is the perfect choice. Dial in a clean setting and add some reverb for depth. For a great starting point, try setting the preamp gain to 25%, bass to 45%, mids to 55%, treble to 60%, and presence to 65%.

I use a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig in and get aggressive when needed! Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 25% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 65%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 45%
