Description

First let me introduce you to the basic concept of what we call "root-chord strumming" by applying it to our open E-chord. The challenge is to find the main bass note - meaning the lowest possible single note that has the same letter name as the chord. That note is called the "root note", and in this case we're looking for the lowest possible root note to use as our main bass note.
