For this tutorial I'll be using a Les Paul and I'll be running it through a modeled Fender Amp. The amp has a fairly clean tone, but I'll be adding a fuzz pedal in front of it. Fuzz is just a different type of distortion.

I'll also be adding a little bit of reverb and a subtle delay tail with 1 and a half repeats and a low delay volume. This will add some extra ambience, without being very apparent. But as always, it's important to remember that you can play the examples on any guitar and through any amp!
