We'll be doing a single guitar performance for the whole song later in this tutorial, but in this lesson I want to show you how to approach the verse section.
I'm taking the electric part for the verse that's played up in the 12th position, but now adapting it an open G shape (A) on the acoustic. I'm playing the same funk-inspired rhythm.
