Description
In this lesson I'll teach you how to play basic trills, in whole step intervals. We'll work at a slow tempo, using 16th notes.
First we'll learn basic trill starting by picking the G note at the 5th fret of the D string with our index finger, then doing a hammer-on up a whole step to A at the 7th fret of the D string, using our ring finger. We'll then "trill" back and forth between these two notes.
Next we'll do a trill that starts by going down a whole step. We'll start by picking the G note at the 5th fret of the D string again, only this time we'll move down a whole step to F at the 3rd fret of the D string. We'll use our ring finger for the G note and our index finger for the F, then trill back and forth between the two notes.
