Description
In this lesson we'll explore the concept called a "theme". A theme is typically a melodic and catchy idea that can be used in a couple of different ways - you can use it like you'd use a riff, as a reoccurring instrumental part of the song (but the theme is typically more melodic, where the riff is more just "energy"). You can also compose a theme and use it as a solo section, instead of improvising a solo. But one of the coolest ways to use a theme is to improvise a solo, and then end it in a theme. In this lesson I'll show you how to do this.
