Description

Now we are ready for the B section of the song, which is played twice with the same two guitar parts with only some slight variation. Here are some key points to help you through it:

1. The B section is 8 bars long and is played twice. Guitar #1 will play some open chords while guitar #2 focuses on a quarter note melody and rhythm with some chords.

2. Guitar #1 simply strums an open E minor chord for two bars, and then plays an A barre chord on the 5th fret of the E string for two bars. You will play it this way twice through the first time you play the B section. The second time, guitar #1 will play the same chords only with a few more added hits to change it up.

3. Guitar #2 plays consistent single string melodies throughout, every other time playing D and G on the B and E strings. The low melody is E-B in between the higher notes, played 7 times. The section ends with the bass playing a melody for one measure.
