Bluesy, Not Blues

Description

This trick has been used by every country guitar player to get a bluesier sound in the key of E Major. It's a simple one chord vamp that turns massively bluesy when you add the 7th of the chord, a little arpeggiation and a tremolo pedal.

This applies to any single chord vamp you may play that you want to sound more bluesy. Add the dominant 7th, arpeggiate and add some overdriven tremolo.

It ain't blues, but it is bluesy!
