The main riff is in the key of G minor and follows your basic 12-bar blues progression. There are layered guitar parts in the Ventures' recording and we'll show them to you in this lesson. The main hook is a chromatic single note musical theme starting on the root note, G.
There is a layered harmony one 5th above the root note and also an octave above the root as well. In this lesson we'll show you how to play all three parts. This is handy to know if you're playing along with a friend or a band and you want to fill out the "Batman" sound.
