Description
Arpeggio is an Italian word meaning "broken chord". Guitarists simply see arpeggiation as picking the notes of a chord seperately. Arpeggiation is the technique used behind such hits as "The Dance", "Whiskey Lullaby", and "When You Say Nothing At All".
Note how I arpeggiate a standard G Major chord. In the next lessons, we'll learn specific arpeggiation patterns that you can use with all the chords you know.
