Description
Continuing on with jazz guitar in the style of the great Joe Pass!
This time I don't stop at one octave. I just keep on walking all the way up the fretboard! I eventually wind up covering two full octaves of bassline with the G major scale including the minor 7th as a passing tone along with the G7 chord tones making complete inversions.
Finally I show that this idea is equally applicable to other root notes and thus others chords. The example I give is to root a C7 on the A string and show how to achieve the same type of Drop 2 chord voicings, bassline and motion.
