Description
In this lesson we'll tackle a chord progression in A minor. This lesson uses the same timing and rhythm as the previous lesson in E minor, but with slightly different chords. Use this as another opportunity to brush up on your chords, palm muting and arpeggiation.
Make a special note that we're throwing a new chord shape into the mix, too. Instead of a G chord we'll be using G/B (pronounced G over B). Don't let that scare you. All you do to make this chord is lift your second finger off of the low E string and do not play the E string. Begin strumming the chord on the A string where a B will be the lowest sounding note. This will create an interesting line in the chords of this rock riff.
