At some point or another, you may come across a unique blues situation called the Blues Rhumba or Blues Mambo. In this setting, you would be playing a 12 Bar Blues progression utilizing a unique rhythm that follows a clave beat. It can be tricky to find a guitar part in this rhythm, and in this lesson I will show you some techniques you can use to survive in this situation. Playing in the key of Ab, we are going to use a series of ghost notes, percussive techniques, and thumb voicings. Let's hear how it sounds!
