I have been wanting to get my Aspen Strat Copy painted for quite some time. This guitar was passed down from my uncle and its well older than I(13 years old) so the paint is worn, and has no shine at all, even after a good cleaning. I was wondering how much it would cost to get it painted Black or Red.
Getting Painted

The best that anybody here can do for you is to guess at what it would cost them in their town. You will have to take it to a guitar tech or a luthier for an estimate.
It is possible to dismantle the guitar and paint it yourself, but I don't recommend it. You are much more likely to ruin it than make it better.
Re-painting a guitar is a very tricky thing to do well. And putting it back together so that it plays well is something that guitar techs spend years learning how to do right. Sadly, there are many more wrong ways to do it than right ones. And let's be real here - if you already knew how to do it right, you wouldn't be asking about it.

It's not that difficult to paint a guitar, but it takes time. Lots of it.
Just multiple layers of celluloid spray-paint, then polish until your fingers bleed.
Well sort of anyway.

Well ask your local guitar shop, or if you don't have one, your local auto shop.
I'm sure they would'nt mind painting a guitar.
