Aerosmith!!!

Id just like to say how awesome Aerosmith are! How come people talk about the Stones are though they are like the premier rawk n roll band from the.. erm... world!, if you made a top 50 Aerosmith and Stones songs I bet outa that 50 at least 40 would be Aerosmith!
If you dont know much about Aerosmith then buy "Big Ones" or "The Greatest hits". Theres two sides to them, the raw simple bluesy rock riffs from the 70s then the cheeky tits n ass slick MTV 'smith. Both are brilliant!

Aerosmith is pretty good. Joe Perry has a great bluesy style of riff-writing, actually quite like the soloing that you'd here in the late 50s early 60s. My favourite song is probably Dream On. Awesome!

For a while my favorite thing to come out from Aerosmith was Liv Tyler :)

Aerosmith do rock, I love perry's style, they're great live too.

Doh! course I knew the stones were british! Im british lol, well scottish, dont believe in britain! I had a massive listn of bands considered better than aerosmith but just put the stones cos there similarities.
I got into guitar because of slash and forgot about Aerosmith. But I started listening to them again and now as a guitarist Ive totally been blown away by perry. I forgot just how good he really is. Your techinque and ability really has to be spot on to recreate some of perrys solos, Dude(looks like a lady) to name one.
Aerosmith are legends and they have a new album out next year which they claim will be classic aerosmith, they are using there producer they had in the 70s- should be good!

The 'Smith were great, but all their stuff after Pump pretty well sucks, esp 9 Lives. Permanent Vacation and Toys in the Attic are my faves and 'No surprise' of the less than good 'Night in the ruts' my top 'Smith toon. Problems started when they let 'professional' songwriters have a stab.
