Doh! course I knew the stones were british! Im british lol, well scottish, dont believe in britain! I had a massive listn of bands considered better than aerosmith but just put the stones cos there similarities.
I got into guitar because of slash and forgot about Aerosmith. But I started listening to them again and now as a guitarist Ive totally been blown away by perry. I forgot just how good he really is. Your techinque and ability really has to be spot on to recreate some of perrys solos, Dude(looks like a lady) to name one.
Aerosmith are legends and they have a new album out next year which they claim will be classic aerosmith, they are using there producer they had in the 70s- should be good!
