So the strumming pattern is DD UU DU .[/quote][p]That is the pattern for when you actually strum the chords, but notice that you should always be constantly strumming your arm back & forth: down, up, down, up, etc.

The trick is to avoid strumming the strings on some of those strums.

Down (strum) up (miss) down (strum) up (strum) down (miss) up (strum) down (strum) up (strum)
