Vai, Malmsteen, or Satraini?

I had heard the guy was a shredder...(big Malmsteem fan)

if i had to choose between the 3 i guess i would have to say malmsteen his music is much more catchy than vai and satch , i also think them 2 are about the most overrated guitar players out there , i mean dont get me wrong there both bad ass guitar players its just that there music is very boring i went out and bought every vai album, and he does not impress me that much , i much more impressed with zakk wyldes playing than vai and satch, and as for speed none of these guitar players are faster than the other , its just what there playing and how there playing it to make it sound fast , music can me a illusion sometimes and some guitarists know how to use that to there advantage, but zakk wylde is the fu#kin man and he could kick malmsteen, vai and satches ass anyday

Malmsteen's music more catchy than Satch's??? You've gotta be freakin kidding me. Malmsteen doesn't even know the meaning of a melody. The majority of his playing is just shredding up and down the same old harmonic minor scales. Wooohooo!!!

but seriously the guy uses the same sweeps in every song, same sweeps all the time..
and most of his solos lacks any idea behind them - no melody just sweep after sweep after sweep...

zakk is dead?

zakk wylde is not dead he might look a little dead sometimes but hes defiently alive, but yea malmsteen does sweep alot well a little more than alot and he does use the harmonic minor alot but, I find is music more interesting than vai and satch , well except when the singing comes in that **** kills me, but alot of you act like these 3 guitartists are like the best 3 which is very off, theres so many players out there that you will never here of
