Suggestion for Practice Regime?

Hi,
I'm wondering if there are any suggested practice plans for beginners. Ive been noodeling around for a bit. I can play some chords and get through singing some simple lullabys backed by solid chords. I'm interested in classical style ( I think) where you play multiple notes at a time but the melody comes through. Like when Captin Von Trap sang and played adelweiss in sound of music. I'm hoping to put in 30-45 min a day and would like to follow a specific regime. For example, which scale, techniques and songs should I work on and for how long each. Song types might be kids songs, folk, country, pop, alternative, ( I'm not really a rock guy).

Any suggestions on a practice regime I might follow?

First, go through the GF2 course to get a solid foundation in theory:

You'll notice a lot of nursery rhymes & melodies that kids love. :) I had a lot of fun using this material to play & sing to my kid when he was an infant & toddler.
