Hello everyone.

How come that the lessons in rock course level 2 about lead scales, how come that they show alot of examples with hammer ons and pull offs and all that stuff, when the technique has not even been coverd yet?

Are they suppose to be easy or something? not to be rude...

Not sure about the lessons since I'm not a full member, but hammer on's and pull off's are pretty easy. Its basically just like they sound, you hit a note, then push down with another finger for hammer ones. Or hit a not and pull the finger off the string for a pull off. Im sure there are lessons somewhere.

I just did a search and it looks like they are covered in section 2 of the Rock Course 2

Ofcourse i know how to play hammer ons and pull offs, i just think that those examples played in those lessons are too hard for beginners?

I don't know if you get my point. But anyway.

When you look at the whole Rock Guitar Level 2 course; there is a tutorial on some exercises and some examples for Hammer Ons and Pull offs by LA guitarist Joel Van Dijk. Watch his video and see if that helps you.

Also, the Rock Guitar Level 2 course is for beginner/intermediate students and if you find some of the lessons too hard; go back and review some material from Level 1 and work some of them up to speed. While some of the examples are more difficult than others, it is important that you take the examples slowly at first, or perhaps just do a section at a time. Each of those examples are meant to exercise each concept while also giving you insight into the tone and feel of those players. Best of luck and feel free to post any other questions you may have.

Not necessarily. The main thing you should be concerned with is that you grasp the concepts of the lessons. The examples are meant to give you insight into how real world players might use these ideas. If you can't play all the examples, you can certainly move on just as long as you grasp the concepts being taught. Don't move on if you don't understand the content; and feel free to ask if you need any further assistance.

surely i get the consepts, completely!
I just think i get a little unpatient sometimes (taking time to learn something), cause speaking the truth iv actually run a little dry in my development as a player, not sure why :( I just have a hard time going from beginner to intermediate stuff. Not that i don't know how to play some very nice licks and stuff, but i have a hard time learning other peoples stuff. I actually learn best, of myself makeing licks and stuff up. But im kinda stuck at the moment...

Hope ill get trough that...
