I have always been a fan of the thinline series of the tele, but not too much of the strat. I like the size of the neck, the balance and the tone of the teles much better.

Customs, tariffs, and shipping prevent merchandise from being shipped reasonably between countries.
That is the reason why U.S. music stores like www.sweetwater.com cannot sell to musicians in other countries, even as close as Canada.
We originally intended this contest to be run by Ren in the U.K. but we found that just shipping him the gear was so problematic that it would cost more than the contest itself.
Please accept our apologies for making this a U.S. only contest.
I am in Canada but I have a US address. You can ship my prize there with no problems. Thanks :D

It would really be great to own an authentic classic Fender Telecaster. I've been playing on a generic guitar for years. It's time for an upgrade. Thanks for the chance.

Would love to have a Tele to compliment my LP. Here's hopin'
BTW, Sweetwater does ship to Canada - - I just checked their website. I live in Niagara Falls, NY, about 1 mile from the boarder and have friends in The Great White North who order from Sweetwater and other on-line resellers like Musician's Friend, Zzounds and others, and have the stuff shipped to Canada. It takes a little longer and they have to pay for customs clearance, but they can get stuff shipped in.

I've always been interested in a Tele to complement my Strat; this sounds like a really good deal.
