"LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton was released from a Los Angeles County jail early Thursday because of an unspecified medical problem and will fulfill the reminder of her sentence in home confinement, a sheriff's spokesman said."

I guess the Papparazzi pooled some money together to help Mr. Hilton pull a few strings; remember Paris is half their business.

What else did ya expect.
Michelle Rogrgeus was let out after only 4 hours because of overcrowding too.

The whole justice system is a joke.

I'm waiting for the day when somebody like Lindsay Lohan actually kills somebody. Or the paparazi plows into a crowd of people.
Hopefully then something will get done about it.

Appearantly the Judge strictly said she would not go under house arrest, and many people want the officer arrest for releasing her. She has to go back to court tommorrow mourning at 9am. This outcome should be interesting.

I wouldn't be opposed to her being released.....but only if she made a sequel to "One Night In Paris."

Try not to think about it dude. It's painful. I don't know why we have to know about people like this.

What I find truly amusing about this whole thing is that there is a new sort of anti-celebrity brewing in this country. I gotta admit, I got a little *higgly when I thought she was going to jail. People are growing disgusted with these spoiled, rich little skanks.

*Higgly: yinzer for excited, happy, dancing about laughing and pointing...*

heh... that look on her face on the awards show was priceless.

Hell, man... I spent more time in jail for not paying a parking ticket than she did. I had to sit in a sweat box about 4X4 ft for 24 hours then spend all day in a jail cell just so I could get released on my own recognisance.
I didn't even get to eat cause some scumbag old guy stole my sandwich.
