Thanks for the advice/support alls. I think that no matter what I do I'll probably still be terrified but now I mostly just want to get it done. So close now...

it definately gets better with time. the first time I played in front of people I was super nervous, but after you're done you're like "well, that wasn't so bad" then the next time you are less nervous and so on and so forth. I play in front of 30-40 people once a week and it doesn't even bother me anymore.

Haha, our drummer has been playing in bands for like 18 years and he still pukes on stage from time to time. He claims it's the lights and he gets too hot too quick....maybe true, I don't know....

He's getting good at it though. He'll puke and not miss a beat. Actually keeps a bucket beside him on stage just for that. :D

That adreneline rush is one thing I love about being on stage....

Just tune the crowd out man. Have fun with the show and don't worry about what other people think.

Well I slept from about midnight until 7:15, then lied in bed for about 15 minutes too terrified to move. Eventually I managed to get up and then I listened to Green Day which, for whatever reason, made me feel better. Once I got all showered and dressed and had some coffee (no food, I couldn't even think about food) I was excited again. I can't wait to see how it all turns out anyway. But I have to admit I am still nervous. I don't think anybody can really blame me for that.

Thanks a lot for all the advice and support from everyone. It really means a lot to us. Pretty soon, we'll be telling you how it all turned out!

You'll be finnnnneeee, but seriously, just take it easy. No doubt you will be very nervous during the first few songs, but you'll start to relax and then before you know it, your done!

If I were you, I'd just crank the amp and jam out to whatever for an hour before the show. You'll be warmed up n' loosey goosey.

If you don't tape it, a lot of us will stone you. *shakes fist in air*

Well, it went pretty well. Turns out you GT buggers were right, we had no reason to worry. We played through one of the other bands' amps because ours just weren't going to cut it, and that was really the only problem we encountered. We weren't used to the settings on the amps, and as a result everything sounded a little bit off, with the exception of "Living to Kill." Whenever we practice, it never seems to sound right, but last night it was pretty much perfect. Being unfamiliar with the amps also kinda screwed up my raucous outro to our last song, because I couldn't get it to feed back just right. Also, the second mic was barely picking up any sound, so all the songs I sang sounded like instrumentals. Other than that and a couple of botched solos, no complaints.

But really, no one cared. Everyone said we did great. All the bands were really nice guys, and even though we're not really fans of their kind of music, I have to admit they put on a pretty good show. This guy from Moments of Brilliance told Michael that we sounded great for our first show, and it seemed like we had more experience than we really did, which was cool. This other guy said we reminded him of the Doors, which was even cooler. This girl asked me to sign her purse, and her friend got all 3 of us to sign her crotch-area. Apparently I'm hot.

Oh, I almost forgot. Immediately after our set, this guy ran up to me and handed me a piece of paper. It was an ad for a show at the same place on the 9th of November. He asked if we wanted to play, so we talked it over and decided we might as well.

Yep.

And my brother got a video of our show, so I'm gonna post up a link to our performance of Living To Kill for you's!!

It went really great. I can't wait for the next one. I already got a stalker out of it!

And for the record, Brendon is the hottest Greasy Knot.

But I give the best hugs.

Wanna know something awesome? Turns out that the guy who asked us to do the show is putting together a show of stuff other than punk, because all they get in that town is punk shows. So we got asked because we're original, basically. How awesome!

I was about to post a picture of stackny in some sort of tube, cut off at the waist, with a speech bubble filled with an actual quote from one of our religious debates, but then I remembered that I'm lazy.
