Program that slows down music

Hey, does anyone know of any freeware programs that will take a mp3 and slow the song down, without adjusting the pitch? I have a mac with OS X, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

um if u have the newest version of windows media player you should be able to do it. go to view then shown enhancements.
a thing should appear at the bottom, then you click the little arrows untill u find one with speed setting. play your mp3 and move the bar.
(edit) ohh u have a mac, um i dunno what you should use sorry

You can download Windows Media Player for the Mac. Otherwise, there's a cool program called Amazing Slow Downer for Macs. I don't think it's free, but you can download a trial version for a month. It's pretty good. I have it.

There is a feature on cakewalk Guitar Tracks version 2 called ' slowblast ',
it slows down a riff and loops it - it is compatible with Windows 95 (OSR2),98,Me and XP.

Does your mac have the "garageband" application. If so: drop the mp3 file onto a garageband track and slow it down by 50%. It will drop the pitch by an octave but it will still be in the same key as the original track.
You can do the same thing with the iMovie application. If you want the actual tone to remain the same...then I don't know what to tell you.
